Description Description: Strong coding background a MUST. The ideal candidate will be able to test apps in infrastructure (not someone that codes c in Kernel, for example). Designs and develops test plans, performs repeatable testing procedures and processes. Verifies triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications. Interprets and modifies code as required including batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries, stored procedures and/or triggers. SKILLS: 1-3 plus years software testing experience, 1 year in a Windows client/server environment required. Developing programs in at least one language (such as C/C++, VB, SQL, etc.). Must have solid knowledge of software quality assurance practices, with strong testing aptitude. Must have the ability to read logical and physical data model diagrams. Ability to read and write C/C++ and VB required. Database programming experience, i.e. SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, Informix and/or DB2 may be required. Familiarity with COM is needed. Visual Basic, MFC, OLE, Internet tools, NT, compiler preprocessor preferred. Knowledge of personal computer hardware may be required. Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science required and some business/functional knowledge preferred
